FAQs
What types of project will be funded?
Projects that address needs in the LGBTQ+ community will be funded. Prior grantees include Compton’s Table’s True North Program (2023) and GEAE and Journey to a Trauma-Informed Life’s efforts to support counseling for LGBTQ+ teens. For a complete list, see the LGBT Fund’s website.
What if I have an idea for a program or project, but I’m not a 501(c)3 organization?
The LGBT Fund believes that inclusivity extends to the projects we support and the people who create them. If you have an idea that fits the criteria above, you will need to partner with a 501(c)3 organization that agrees to act as a fiscal sponsor. For more information on fiscal sponsorship, please reach out to the Erie Community Foundation Community Impact team.
Can I apply for multi-year funding?
No.
