EWF EVENTS
The Erie Women’s Fund (EWF) hosts a variety of events throughout the year designed to engage members and the community in our mission to Empower Women and Families. These events provide opportunities to connect with others, learn about important issues affecting Erie, and discover the impact of EWF’s grants. Members also gain insights into how past grants and investments have transformed our community.
Our events fall into three main categories: Connection Events, Education Sessions, and Signature Events.

Casual gatherings for members and new friends to mingle and connect with EWF.

Learning-focused gatherings that help members and guests explore important issues affecting women and families in Erie and better understand EWF’s grantmaking impact.

WOMEN DRIVING
PHILANTHROPY
Women Driving Philanthropy (WDP) is the Erie Women’s Fund’s annual women-only golf outing, held on the last Monday in August at the beautiful Lawrence Park Golf Club. This signature event raises vital funds that directly support the grantmaking efforts of EWF, Empowering Women and Families in Erie.
Led by a dedicated volunteer committee of EWF members, WDP brings together 100+ women from across the community for a day of fun and philanthropy on the course. This event is made possible by the generosity of our sponsors.
We were disappointed to cancel the 2026 Women Driving Philanthropy outing due to inclement weather. We appreciate the understanding and continued support of our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners. Please check back in spring 2027 for information about next year’s event.
