HUMAN SERVICES FUND OF ERIE COUNTY

The Human Services Fund of Erie County Grant Program is a new funding opportunity dedicated to strengthening the systems and services that help Erie County residents meet their most essential needs.

This fund reflects the donor’s commitment to supporting individuals and families facing barriers, as well as the Foundation’s broader mission to invest in impactful, sustainable solutions across the community.

This program encourages organizations working in the following areas to apply:

  • Food access
  • Housing stability
  • Healthcare access
  • Childcare

 

Eligible Requirements

Eligible Organizations & Projects

Applications must be submitted by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is located in Erie County or serving a substantial number of Erie County residents. All projects must address at least one of the focus areas listed above. Collaborative efforts are always encouraged, but not required.

 

Ineligible Organizations & Projects

Applications submitted by for-profit organizations, support sectarian religious activities, or whose purpose is for fundraising only or projects falling outside the identified focus areas will not be considered. Organizations should ensure they are current on all Foundation grant reporting requirements.

*Receipt of funding from other Erie Community Foundation grant opportunities within the past 12 months does NOT affect eligibility for the Human Services Fund.
