EMERGING ERIE FUND
GRANT RECIPIENTS
2024
Erie City Moms
Grant: $75,000
Erie City Moms Launched the H.O.M.E (Home Ownership for Mothers in Erie) Initiative to offer Erie moms the opportunity to participate in home ownership and residential skillbuilding.
2023
Our West Bayfront (OWB)
Grant: $40,000
OWB successfully purchased a blighted house to support their revitalization efforts on the West Side and renovated to transform the property into an affordable home for a future Erie resident.
2022
Erie Center for Arts and Technology (ECAT)
Grant: $15,000
ECAT has successfully expanded their evening construction trades program to allow for over 60 students with 20 and 30 graduating in 2022 and 2023 respectively.
Mother Teresa Academy (MTA)
Grant: $20,000
The STEM Lab at MTA has been stocked with robotics, computer technology, and science supplies to encourage STEM educational career paths in current students.
2021
Erie Arts & Culture: Activate through Art
Grant: $15,000
Local Erie artist, John Smith, completed the mural highlighting the impact of gun violence in our communities and encouraging neighbors to create safe spaces.
