Mission

Erie Independence House, Inc. (EIH) exists to enhance and promote independence in people with disabilities through the provision of accessible, affordable, adaptive housing necessary for them to lead productive, independent lives. We offer wheelchair accessible housing in the Erie, PA region

Programs and Services

  • We provide in home one on one care. We also provide accessible housing with three separate buildings that have 100% accessible apartments. We also have a 6 bedroom facility called the Intermediate Care Facility for Other Related Conditions. This program works with individual to increase their independent living skills so they can live out in the community.
