Mission

Advancing maritime education, promoting youth and intercollegiate sailing competition, and expanding opportunities in boating.

Programs and Services

• The Erie Yacht Club Foundation provides grants to programs in Erie County that are align with our mission. On an annual basis, the Foundation supports scholarships through the United Way for Strong Vincent Middle School students through the Community Schools program to attend the Reyburn Sailing School, a summer program that teaches basic sailing principals both in the classroom and on the water. Other programs recently funded include the water youth experiences, marine-related research, the purchase of nautical books, and historical presentations with a maritime theme. Our grant process is open any nonprofit that has a program that meets our mission. Donors need not be Erie Yacht Club members and may contribute to any of our funds.
