Transformational Grants support collaborative programs that create meaningful changes in the lives of the people being served. These grants demonstrate shared goals across a continuum of institutions, organizations, and programs within one or more of the Foundation’s priority areas: health, education, economic growth, neighborhood and community development, and regional vitality.

What type of project will be funded?
Transformational Grants fund projects that create meaningful changes in the lives of individuals in the Erie community. Priority is given to projects that demonstrate shared goals across a continuum of institutions, organizations, and programs. Transformational grants may focus on community planning and problem solving, like the infrastructure support provided to Infinite Erie. Grants may also develop projects, like the Grow Erie initiative, or provide transformational investments.
