Meet our 25 NEW Erie Gives Participating Nonprofits!

  1. Afghan Community of Erie Pennsylvania: Afghan Community of Erie Pennsylvania has a mission to develop the livelihood of Afghans in Erie, helping them feel welcomed and a part of the community.
  2. 88 Live to Ride Inc: 88 Live to Ride was founded in dedication of professional ATVMX rider, Matt Bartosek, who died competing in the 2003 Winter Olympics. This organization was created in hopes of helping other passionate riders stay safe while competing.
  3. North East Sports Boosters Inc.: The North East Sports Boosters want to foster, reward, cultivate, advance, support, and promote the PIAA Athletes and PIAA athletic programs in the North East School District. (from website)
  4. Boosters of Camp Cadet: The Boosters of Camp Cadet strive to support the young men and young women through their journey at camp as they develop as young cadets. At camp, the young cadets are learning self-discipline and self-esteem as well as the importance of respect and relationships with law enforcement personnel.
  5. Community Cornerstone Project: Community Cornerstone Project works to rebuild, strengthen, and equalize the community through strong relationships and partnerships through educating and training.
  6. Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing: Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing began in 2005 with an intention of serving wounded military service members who are returning home from combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. Project Healing Waters is now nationwide, after establishing their highly successful program.
  7. The Contemporary Integrational Orchestra Project: The Contemporary Integrational Orchestra Project is a noncompetitive, nonpolitical orchestra composed of professionals and students. Their purpose is to showcase their talent for art, through a supportive and welcoming atmosphere.
  8. Erie Neighborhood Growth Partnership: The Erie Neighborhood Growth Partnership’s mission is to collaborate and mobilize leadership, expertise, and resources to sustain business, create jobs, grow investments, enrich life, and improve the economy.
  9. Central Erie County Paramedic Association: The Central Erie County Paramedic Association (CECPA) is owned and operated by three volunteer fire departments who work closely with the volunteer ambulance crews to provide quick and efficient care and transportation to those in need. CECPA currently has two operating Squad Units and responds to 1,200 calls annually.
  10. Charles Manning Reed Historic Preservation Corporation: Charles Manning Reed was the son of Rufus Seth Reed, one of Erie’s first settlers. Charles Manning Reed continued in his father’s footsteps, with interests in banking, railroads, the Erie Canal, shipping lines, etc. He was said to be one of the richest men in Erie in the mid-1800s and possibly one of the richest men west of New York City. In 1846, Reed began the construction of his young bride’s mansion. The Greek inspired mansion, shown with its big pillars and welcoming “goddesses,” still stands today, and is now mor widely known as the Erie Club.
  11. Faces of Erie: Faces of Erie believes that everyone has a story to tell, and that that is what makes a community so special. Diversity and experiences are what make each individual unique, shaping the heart of our community, and Faces of Erie showcases those diverse qualities, threading together the fabric of our community.
  12. Harborcreek Little Huskies Wrestling Club: Harborcreek Little Huskies Wrestling Club supports young athletes as they learn the basics of wrestling.
  13. Edinboro United Methodist Church: Edinboro United Methodist Church joins with the Holy Spirit to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. They offer a community of believers who want to grow in their faith.
  14. Lake Erie Ballet Company: The Lake Erie Ballet Company, or LEBC, is committed to offering the highest level of dance education through performance opportunities to local performing artists and aspiring dance and acting performers. (from website)
  15. Union City Alumni Association: The Union City Alumni Association promotes strong community of spirit among graduates of the school of Union City, Pennsylvania. Each year they host events that welcome home alumni for the chance to reconnect and catch up, keeping in touch with past and present residents.
  16. DreamBuilders Network: DreamBuilders Network is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a more inclusive and supportive community for individuals with special needs and their families in Erie, PA. (From Facebook)
  17. Erie Women's Empowerment: Erie Women’s Empowerment enables women’s economic growth by championing diversity, fostering professional development, and nurturing personal expansion. (from LinkedIn)
  18. McDowell Softball Boosters: McDowell Softball Boosters support the McDowell girls’ varsity softball team as they train, compete, and grow as athletes during their High School career.
  19. Mount Calvary Lutheran Church: Mount Calvary Lutheran Church is a community that is committed to the work of racial equity, bringing justice for God’s disciples. Everyone is accepted and appreciated as a child of God.
  20. Second Baptist Church: Second Baptist Church inspires their parishioners to live their lives as disciples of Christ. They strive to follow the Gospel and care for their fellow Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
  21. You Matter Foundation, Inc.: You Matter Foundation hopes to better humanity by providing education and training through trauma-informed care, peer support, collaboration, and empowerment to all individuals who seek help.
  22. Project Algerine: Project Algerine’s mission is to create educational and historical experiences for the Erie community using new, cutting-edge technology and film. This gives the residents a real-life experience for historical events they hear of.
  23. Avery’s Pawsitive Change Pet Food Pantry: Avery’s Pawsitive Change Pet Food Pantry was established in 2020 with the mission of feeding animals in need because “no pet should go hungry.” They take donations of pet food, which they distribute to animal shelters and families, to ensure that all animals are fed each day.
  24. 3 PillarZ Farm: 3 Pillarz Farm’s mission is to teach the next generation of farmers, showing them how fun and rewarding the field of work is! They host both fun and educational events in hopes of reconnecting a positive relationship between people, animals, and food.
  25. LiftGirlslift: LiftGirlslift serves women in the Erie community who may not have access to health and wellness. They help women who come in seeking a healthier lifestyle/mindset, and through physical fitness and proper nutrition, LiftGirlslift helps them accomplish that exact goal! Women get one on one care throughout a 16-week process. At the end, participants receive a gym membership to assist them in continuing their healthy lifestyle.
