Overview
The Emerging Erie Fund, a field of interest fund of The Erie Community Foundation, was created to champion local initiatives that will significantly benefit the Erie community both now and in the future. As part of our mission, we are issuing this ‘Request for Proposals’ to solicit innovative and ambitious project ideas.

ApplyEligibility:
- Eligibility: Nonprofit organizations must be 501(c)3 designated.
- Project Scope: Must serve the city of Erie.
- Budget: The project budget must be $2,500,000 or less.
- Timeline: Deadline to apply is May 23. Finalists will be contacted by June 13. Grant recipient announced July 30. All awarded funds must be spent within 18 months of receiving the grant.
- Ineligibility: For-profit organizations, sectarian religious activities, fundraising-only projects, and hospitality-focused initiatives are not eligible.
