As the steward of over 900 endowments for individuals and organizations in Erie, Corry, North East, Union City, Pennsylvania and Findley Lake, NY, The Erie Community Foundation strives to promote a united, vibrant, and thriving region for all, both today and long into the future.
The Erie Community Foundation is currently seeking a Marketing Communications Associate to collaborate closely with the Vice President of Marketing and Community/Government Relations to implement communication strategies that advance the mission, vision, and strategic priorities of The Erie Community Foundation.
MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Media.
- Minimum of three years of experience in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Implement the day-to-day communications, including website updates, social media posts, press releases and editorial pieces under the guidance of the Vice President.
- Prepare quarterly board reports.
- Develop engaging Power Point presentations for ECF events.
- Coordinate distribution of monthly e-news bulletins targeting key audiences of which some are identified by the Philanthropic Services and Community Impact Teams.
- Distribute press invites to the media and implement follow-up communication.
- Maintain up-to-date digital records for the media and government contacts.
- Research and obtain competitive bids for ECF printed pieces including reports, invitations, newsletters, brochures, and signage.
- Assist in the coordination of the annual meeting details, annual report production and Erie Gives.
- Proficient in tools such as Canva, Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Mail Chimp, Calameao, and Linktree.
- Strong command of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Linked In and You Tube.
- Support the communications needs for events organized by the Foundation's affinity groups including: The Erie Women’s Fund events, LGBT Fund, Young Erie Philanthropists, and HEY!-Hear Erie’s Youth.
- Participate in sponsorship meetings and support accompanying tasks.
- Provide communications support for Regional Affiliate Foundations in Corry, North East, Union City and Findley Lake, NY, as needed.
- Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the VP to support promotional efforts.

The Erie Community Foundation offers a comprehensive and competitive compensation and benefits package. The salary range for the Marketing Communications Associate position is $45,000 - $56,000.
